From: Natasha

Dear Official Correspondence,

The town the incident happened was in Auckland City. Apologies for the typo, it happened yesterday, Thursday the 28th September at approx 12.25pm.
I am seeking this information because as a result of the bus running a red light, not being able to afford insurance, I have no car. It was totalled. There’s a police report soon to be filed I’ve been told and they were present after the fact at the scene. The driver was heard apologising and admitting he was at fault at first but then I was told “wasn’t saying anything now” by a police officer. There are/were plenty of witnesses.
Myself and the car in the lane adjacent to mine collided with the bus. My airbags were deployed. I have lacerations to my hand and moderate bruises all over and the elderly gentleman in the other car was taken to hospital with chest pains.
I haven’t heard from Land Transport despite trying to contact them for information on who the insurer is.
I’d like the red light camera footage you installed in case I need it to make a claim. At this stage I just want compensation for my car and the towage paid for. Mi know I’ve said a lot in this forum but you’ve been the only contact I’ve had any response from.
Which frankly, astounds me.
Yours sincerely,

Natasha
