The IPCA is not subject to the Official Information Act. Further, section 32 of the IPCA Act restricts and regulates the manner in which the Authority may disclose information. Accordingly, IPCA must decline your request to us.

However, our Annual Report provides some general information that may assist with your enquiry;

No serving member of any Police service is employed by the Authority. A small number of ex-Police personnel from New Zealand and overseas are employed in specialist roles alongside other staff with a range of backgrounds and expertise in investigation, law, and criminal justice.
