I am writing to you under the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982 to request a list of MSD Providers that can support individuals within Tauranga/Te Puke with
studying for the learner licence test
professional driving lessons for the restricted or full licence test
paying the test fees
a vehicle to take the test in.
I also request the number of people supported per provider (monthly) and the pass rate

Following on from your below request for information on 15 August 2023, we are seeking the refine a matter with you, and to clarify another.
Firstly, can you please confirm that you are prepared to accept a refined date-range of 1 January 2023 to 30 June 2023?
Secondly, the Ministry outsources some of its driving lessons funding - therefore it may not be possible to provide you with a list of all providers that support driver licensing.
Please note that once you have refined your request, under section 15(1AA) of the Official Information Act, the Ministry will treat your refined request as a new request that replaces the original request. This restarts the 20-working day response period. This is required to ensure that the Ministry has enough time to process your request.

2 - apologies if it wasn't clear, Im asking for a list of providers/contractors that MSD used (within the dates above) that provided the service described on your website https://www.workandincome.govt.nz/produc... .

I am only asking for the Te Puke and Tauranga Area, not a list of all providers that support driver licensing, for the providers in the responce I would also like to know - the pass rate for the licensees. the number of individuals that were supported.
also would like to note that Information held by a contractor to an OIA organization is deemed held by that organization, if it is in the contractor's capacity as contractor.
