Judges remuneration, perks and bonuses

Wilson Harlow made this Official Information request to Ministry of Justice

The request was partially successful.

From: Wilson Harlow

Dear Ministry of Justice,

I want to request all the bonuses, payments, and 'perks' that judges of the judiciary (district court to supreme court) receive both while working and after retiring. This is to include both monetary and non-monetary payments and benefits. Additionally, the breakdown of how these perks are funded would be appreciated.

I am a New Zealand citizen pursuant to the Act.

Yours faithfully,
K
