Total number of actions taken for Community Roadwatch reports in 2023

Mark Jones made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Mark Jones to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Mark Jones

Dear New Zealand Police,

I appreciate that the Community Roadwatch form is likely to be a great tool to free up police resourcing and provide a way to (hopefully) lower our road toll.

I would like to know the actions/results of form submissions for the community roadwatch form on the website. I understand almost all of these result in a letter being sent. Can you let me know many times this has happened?

https://www.police.govt.nz/about-us/publ...

Could you please also let me know the most commonly complained about (accusation) offence?

I'm flexible on the time period, but I'm sure you need one for this request, so please feel free to choose a 6 or 12 month period that is easiest for you to report on - I don't want to create additional work for you. If you do need a time period, how about 1 Oct 2022 - 31 March 2023.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Jones
