Dear Middleton Grange School,
I am writing to request information about the punishment commonly known as “isolation” at this institution.
I am requesting
1. The number of students punished with isolation in 2022 and the total number of isolation days issued
2. Any procedures and guidelines surrounding the punishment including, but not limited to, specifications of rooms students are isolated in, guidelines on when the punishment shall be appropriate, materials provided to students during isolation (food, entertainment, etc.), number and duration of breaks allowed, and degree of notice to parents/guardians regarding the use of this corrective measure on their child, as well as their ability to contest or dispute this punishment.
