Kia ora Rebecca,

Thank you for your  request under the Official Information Act 1982, the
following:

“List for approved companies with visa sponsorship for health care”

Our Response

Please refer to Appendix One for a list of accredited employers with a
Health Care and Social Assistance associated industry code, as at 10 June
2023. Please note: job sector data is not available for all employers.
This is due to various reasons such as employers belonging to multiple
sectors, the industry field being left blank at time of application or the
industry information not being held by the New Zealand Companies Office.

Please note: Before a worker can be invited to apply for an Accredited
Employer Work Visa (AEWV), employers must first apply for employer
accreditation, advertise the role and then apply for a Job Check. More
information on the new AEWV process can be found here:
[1]www.immigration.govt.nz/employ-migrants/new-employer-accreditation-and-work-visa/steps-to-hiring-migrants-on-the-aewv

If you would like to check if a specific company is an accredited
employer, please refer to the searchable tool on the Immigration New
Zealand website
[2]www.immigration.govt.nz/new-zealand-visas/preparing-a-visa-application/working-in-nz/check-if-an-employer-is-accredited

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
[3]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or freephone 0800 802 602.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of your request or this response, please
