How are pharmacies now funded under Te Whatu Ora, how do you determine whether one pharmacy should be funded and not another? What practices does Te Whatu Ora undertake to determine that the process of funding pharmacies isn't subject to commercial conflicts of interest.

Please outline the number of applications for pharmacy funding/registration over the past fund years, and the number that were declined.

Outline the steps taken to assure the public that cartel activity is not occurring, and that any restrictions placed on registered pharmacies do not arise out of anti-competitive practices.
