On 14 March 2023, you emailed the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:

I would like to request the total sum of grants given by WINZ for electricity bills in 2020, 2021 and 2022, broken down by region. (Please exclude the Winter Energy Payment, I am interested in grants given in addition to this.)

If possible, I would also like to know the sum of the above grants that were for:
- disconnection fees to electricity retailers
- pre-pay top-ups to electricity retailers

And what sum of the above grants that were recoverable, versus non-recoverable.
