In the full meeting of Christchurch City Council on 15 February 2023, Councillor Aaron Keown said “So obviously, early on the airport company showed us modelling that having Tarras reduces carbon, like the net amount of travel in and out of the South Island.”
Could you please provide:
The date and time of the meeting(s) where this briefing has been given to CCC, plus a list of attendees.
A copy of the minutes recording each meeting, including any discussion points or associated briefings.

               Presenter: Paul Munro (CCHL) and Michael Singleton (CIAL)
Noted
1.            Michael Singleton provided an update.  All information will
 be published on the company website and will be available to the public. 
 The company will make themselves accessible to members of the public who
 wish to engage with them.
2.            Briefings also being provided to CCHL and to the Crown as
 part of no surprises policy.
3.            Have been doing some work around engagement at Christchurch
 level.

4.   CIAL Strategic Update and Central Otago Project
               Malcolm Johns – Chief Executive CIAL (via Zoom) and  Shane
 Vuletich and Michael Singleton – CIAL Sam Macdonald absent for briefing
 until 11.51pm
Note – clear expectation of confidence was raised before briefing began.
Michael Singleton provided an update to Councillors on issues and current
 trends.
CIAL provided responses to Councillor questions.
In addition, we have decided to withhold some notes and the relevant
 presentations under the following section of the LGOIMA - 7(2)(b)(ii) – to
 protect the commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the
 subject of the information.
 
In the Council's view the reasons for withholding these details are not
 outweighed by public interest considerations in section 7(1) favouring
 their release.
