Consideration is currently being given to your request and you can expect a reply at the Minister’s earliest opportunity.

The information you have requested will likely contain Ministry of Social Development (Ministry) employee names and contact details. We would need to consult relevant Ministry employees before deciding whether we can release this information to you, and this will take additional time and effort. If you require the names of Ministry employees who are below tier 4 and/or who are not decision-makers, please advise us as soon as possible and we will treat your request as amended accordingly.

Tēnā koe Jenny Hamilton,

On 30 January 2023, you emailed the Office of Hon Carmel Sepuloni, Minister for Social Development and Employment, requesting the below information, under the Official Information Act 1982.

This email is to advise you that the Minister has received your request, however, requires more time to respond to this request. In accordance with section 15(1) and 15A of the Official Information Act, a decision will be with you no later than 30 March 2023.

The reason for the extension is that the consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or 0800 802 602.
