The request was successful.

    Dear Social Workers Registration Board,
I noted
https://swrb.govt.nz/professional-conduc...
May I ask how many applications you have received and how many vacancies are available this round. Besides the link above, have you call for nomination in any other places?
For the applications you have received, how many are from the general public, how many are from the current sitting members and how many are from other nominating governments agencies, such as TPK.
Yours faithfully,
john luke
Sent request to Social Workers Registration Board again, using a new contact address.

    Kia ora Mr Luke,

I’m helping with SWRB’s response to your OIA request (copied below).

Could you please clarify a few points of your request for us so we can try
 to give you helpful answers?

 1. When you ask “how many [applications] are from the current sitting
members”, who do you mean by “current sitting members”? Do you mean
people who are already in SWRB’s pool of potential professional
conduct committee (PCC) members? People who are already in the pool
have already been contracted, and therefore by definition have not
applied for any of the new vacancies currently being advertised.

 2. When you ask “how many [applications] are from other nominating
governments agencies, such as TPK”, what do you mean by “nominating
government agencies”? Do you mean public sector organisations in
general, the core public service in particular (so, excluding local
government, Crown Entities, state owned enterprises, universities,
etc), or something else? What makes them “nominating” agencies?

 3. When you ask “how many [applications] are from the general public”, do
you mean how many applications are from people who aren’t “current
sitting members” or employees/members of “nominating government
 agencies”?

Thanks, we look forward to hearing your reply.

    Dear Lucas Davies,
Please see my reply below

Yes, I means your current PCC members, does their term of contract has an end date? if not then of course they don't need to apply here again. I think what you are saying here already answered my questions, which you don't have any current PCC members apply this round, as their contract still valid.
2. When you ask “how many [applications] are from other nominating

Nominating agencies as determined by DIA are,https://www.dia.govt.nz/Appointments-to-...
Ministry for Women: Advice and Information and Nominations Service
Te Puni Kōkiri: Governance and Appointments
Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs: Nominations
Ministry for Ethnic Communities: Nominations Database
3. When you ask “how many [applications] are from the general public”, do

sitting members” or employees/members of “nominating government

I means the general public apply to you directly, without any endorsement from the above nominating agencies or not backing by any organization, e.g. union.
Yours sincerely,
john luke
