On 17 October 2023, you emailed the Ministry of Social Development (the
Ministry) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982, the
following information:

 

May I request the full name of current member and their term of
appointment, pay rate and ho much each member has been paid in the past 2
years.

 

Also may I request a job description for its member, lay member, chair and
deputy chair.

 

We have transferred your request in part to Social Workers Registration
Board (SWRB). In particular your request for ‘how much each member has
been paid in the past 2 years’, as the information to which your request
relates is not held by the Ministry but is believed to be held by SWRB. In
these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the OIA to transfer
your request.

 

Please accept the Ministry’s apology for the delay in transferring this
part of your request.

 

Please note that according to sections 14 and 15(1) of the Official
Information Act, the 20-working day response period is reset by the
transfer and starts again on the day SWRB receives the transfer
notification. The Ministry notified SWRB of the transfer today.

 

You will hear further from SWRB concerning your request in due course.

Workers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal members have been paid in the
