On 6 July 2020 you emailed the Ministry of Social Development requesting,
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following
information:

o The current members of the Social Workers Complaints and Disciplinary
Tribunal

 

o Their bio if possible

 

o Does the Social Workers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal have any
lay member?

 

o The sitting members' job description, pay rate and how many days they
attend Social Workers Complaints and Disciplinary Tribunal business
each year since 1st Jan 2017.

 

o How does the department call for nomination from the public if there
is a lay member position?

 

We have transferred the following part of your request to the Social
Workers Registration Board (SWRB):

 

o The sitting members’ pay rate

 

o How many days do the sitting members attend Social Workers Complaints
and Disciplinary Tribunal business each year since 1st Jan 2017?

 

This information is not held by us but is believed to be held by SWRB. In
these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the Act to transfer
your request.

 

You will hear further from SWRB concerning that part of your request.
