I regard to your request for information on the above-mentioned
application I provide the following.

 

On the third of June 2022 Council received an application for land use and
subdivision consent for a fifteen-dwellings residential development across
two existing sites in Mangere Bridge (6 Woodward Avenue and 10a Kiwi
Esplanade). The Applicant, Nest or Invest Limited has applied for consent
via their nominated agent Magdalena Regnault of Barker and Associates
Limited.

 

The proposal involves the construction of three two-storey dwellings
fronting Woodward Avenue and the construction of twelve rear dwellings
running west laterally into the interior of the street block (six two
storey dwellings and six three-storey dwellings). Landscaping (hedging,
fencing, specimen planting) is proposed around the perimeter of the
development. Please see attached a perspective render and site plan of the
proposed development.

 

This application is currently in process and no decision has been made. 
As part of the processing and assessment of the application the council
consultant planner is co-ordinating a team of specialists from our
Heritage team, Urban design, and a Development engineer (including
traffic).  Because the application is in process there is a period of
information exchange between parties and as a result the proposal may go
through some revision from what has been lodged at the start.
