There was an OIA withdrawn earlier by a requester, but I would like an answer to the questions raised in this public website and it reads:
From what we have been hearing there are 28 case officers are working on automatic checks/ new system and 5 case officers are working on the failed auto check Queue. Is this true?
From what we been hearing that 2022 backlog almost done.
Based on the published numbers on RNZ last year only 14,954 Applications left from 2021 backlog as of Sep 2021. How many applications has DIA completed from this backlog?

The Department's response to your request will be made as soon as practicable and by no later than 9 September 2022 (rather than 12 September 2022).
