Thank you for your email regarding the release of personal information.

 

You can apply for the registered person details of a vehicle by lodging an
Application for Registered Person Name and Address (MR31 form) online at
the following link:

Alternatively, you can download an MR31 form
([2]www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/application-registered-person-name-and-address/)
and post the completed form to the NZ Transport Agency Palmerston North
office for processing.

 

There is a transaction fee of $15 for each application, which will be
considered on a case by case basis. Approval or decline of the application
will be notified by email or letter within 10 days from the date the
application is received.

I know I owned it for a short period (~6months) around Oct 2009.

 

If I can be provided with this information as soon as possible it would be
much appreciated.

Thank you for your email regarding your previous plate number.

 

According to the Motor Vehicle Register (MVR) the 2009 Brooker Trailer,
registration plate P281D, was registered in your name between 16 September
2009 and 30 April 2010. As you have previously owned other trailers, this
may not be the correct one. I would suggest having a look through your
insurance records or your personal records to locate any other trailer
registration plates that were in your name during the approximate time
frame.

 

Please find attached the Application for registered person name and
address (MR31 form). 

 

You can complete this form and post it to the NZ Transport Agency at the
address below. You will need to enclose payment for the $15 application
fee by cheque, money order, or by stating your credit card details.
