NZ Post Acquires Shareholding in Supply Chain Solutions (NZ) (2021) Limited

Daniel Ward made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Daniel Ward to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Daniel Ward

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I am requesting more information surrounding the SOE New Zealand Post's recent investment in the business Supply Chain Solutions.

I would like to please know:

What return both short and long term does NZ Post expect to make from it's $10million investment to take a 50% share of Supply Chain Solutions?

The most recent annual report from NZ Post does not specifically disclose the short term return from this investment (it is mixed with another return from another entity) Please can you confirm precisely the return in the most recent half year report?

Please can you release NZ Post's forecast for return on this investment over the following medium term (next 3 years) and long term (3 to 10 years)

Yours faithfully,

Daniel Ward
