Dear OIA Requests,
Regarding your reply, "Information withheld", "countervailing public interest does not outweigh the need to withhold" etc, I completely disagree with that statement.
If the MOH uses a partial data set in press releases, when the community is entitled to a complete data set, not what is known as 'cherry picked' data.

Your OIA request answer directed me to the not terribly helpful :https://www.health.govt.nz/covid-19-nove... this page contains incomplete data used in the table "Age and vaccination status of deaths within 28 days of being reported as a case" which has the category "Not fully vaccinated". The MOH needs to separate out the "entirely non-vaccinated" group with "one dose Comirnaty/covid-vaccine" group, otherwise those of us requiring information to help others with an informed consent process are unable to do this.
So please 1) answer the original question "Could you please state how many of these covid-19 deaths were of natural persons who had received a Comirnaty/BioNTech or other covid injection, and if so,
please give the timing of the injection compared to time of death. "
and since you directed me to the demographic page, I assume to help me answer question 1, I ask a second related question
2) "What is the number of deceased natural persons in the category "entirely non-vaccinated" in the table "Age and vaccination status of deaths within 28 days of being reported as a case"

regards,

Tracy

Dear OIA Requests,
I respectfully request again for the information in this OIA, as I see absolutely no reason that it would breech privacy concerns. The MOH is hiding behind data that looks, at face value, that the vaccinated are dying in greater number with and/or from covid than the non-vaccinated. There is no way of knowing for sure because of this bizarre statistical game played which I have never seen in science nor in statistics, of combining two completely unrelated data sets - the completely non-vaccinated and the 'partially' vaccinated (I assume one vaccination). Both you and I know it's nonsensical and makes a mockery of health statistics. It is certainly in the public interest to know this data as the Govt is using Covid death rates to push more vaccination.

Since there are more deaths in the vaccinated than the non-vaccinated, as this data clearly shows even in its corrupted state, now I need both the information I requested PLUS all the communications between the MOH and the Dept of the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Covid Public Health Response pertaining to death and death rate and side effects following covid vaccination and what actions were decided to be taken and who made the decisions on those actions.

As an addition, I would like any and all government communications, including with police, regarding the vaccination status and subsequent death of Pauline Hanna, also known as Pauline Polkinghorne.

As the first part of this request is on going, I believe that you should provide the information immediately, but comprehend that the new information request may take longer.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course. Thank you for your time.

Yours sincerely,

Tracy

Thank you for your follow up request under the Official Information Act
1982 (the Act) on 11 July 2022 for:

"I respectfully request again for the information in this OIA, as I see
absolutely no reason that it would breech privacy concerns. The MOH is
hiding behind data that looks, at face value, that the vaccinated are
dying in greater number with and/or from covid than the non-vaccinated.
There is no way of knowing for sure because of this bizarre statistical
game played which I have never seen in science nor in statistics, of
combining two completely unrelated data sets - the completely
non-vaccinated and the 'partially' vaccinated (I assume one vaccination).
Both you and I know it's nonsensical and makes a mockery of health
statistics. It is certainly in the public interest to know this data as
the Govt is using Covid death rates to push more vaccination. The original
request asked simply for the entirely NON-vaccinated numbers to be removed
from the reporting column of 'partially vaccinated' in regard to death
rates and reported in their own separate column."

The categories ‘partially vaccinated’ and ‘unvaccinated’ deaths on the web
page in the ‘deaths where covid is the underlying cause of death’ table
are combined because there are a very small number of deaths with only 1
dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. As of 29 July 2022, of the 195 deaths that
are ‘less than fully vaccinated’, there are 26 who are partially
vaccinated and 169 who are unvaccinated. Providing an age breakdown of 26
people would result in very small numbers, and ones which increase quite
slowly day to day. This increases the risk of identification of an
individual, revealing sensitive medical information about them. Therefore,
the Ministry combines the two into one category.

Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
review any decisions made under this request. The Ombudsman may be
contacted by email at: [1][email address] or by calling 0800
802 602.
