Kia ora Nic,

I refer to your official information request dated 3 March 2022, seeking:

“Current Design Personas for users of your contestable funds/grant
management system”

The Official Information Act requires us to make a decision as soon as
practicable. In this case, Manatû Taonga requires additional time to
respond to your request. The reason for this extension is that
consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a
proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the
original time limit.

You will receive a decision on your request no later than 8 April 2022,
earlier if possible. Please note we will work to get you a response as
soon as we can.

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to make a complaint to
an Ombudsman about this extension.

India

Dear MCH,

While the five personas may be still relevant to the service design of your online grants system they seem to be more focused on a live event and touch little on digital elements. They exclude anything indicating any type of digital propensity, device type/use, or barriers users may face in a digital environment.

Mā te wā,

Nic Lane (he/him)
