Subject: [EXTERNAL] Official Information request - Flood Monitoring SOP

Dear Hutt City Council,

Under the provision of the LGOIA please provide me with a copy of the Standard Operating Procedure or other document that set out the the process and actions as followed by Hutt City staff or contractors to monitor the Hutt River in the event of heavy rain or rain warning. This procedure would set out the detail of the roles, responsibilities, actions, timetable, monitoring points, river level trigger points, etc that would result in the Hutt River Bank carpark being closed and/or cleared of vehicles and/or public alerts in the event of danger from flooding. I specifically request the SOP (or other such document) that was implemented in the river flood of 6th Dec 2021.
