Mr Huang made this Official Information request to University of Auckland

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Mr Huang to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Mr Huang

Dear University of Auckland,

I am writing to request statistical data on student performance in a University of Auckland paper.

Can you please provide the final grade distribution, the final exam grade distribution (broken down by grade, e.g., A+, A, etc.), and the mean numerical mark for all 300-level finance papers, between 2018-2021.

I am happy to accept provisional/incomplete data for 2021 if it is not available yet.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Huang

Dear Mr Huang,

I refer to your two requests of 11 December for grade information from the
University of Auckland. Given the amount of resource required to process
your requests, the University has decided to impose a charge for the
provision of this information under section 15 of the Official Information
Act 1982. In accordance with the 2002 Official Information Act charging
guidelines ([1]2002 charging guidelines (justice.govt.nz)), these two
requests have been aggregated with your request of 28 October 2021 for
charging purposes. This means that the University would charge $76 per
hour (to the nearest half-hour) for the staff time required to make the
information requested available to you.

Please advise whether you wish to amend your requests to narrow their
scope before the University calculates an estimate of the maximum charge
for providing you with the information requested. After you have finalised
your requests, the University will provide you with an estimate of the
maximum charge, which you will be required to pay before the University
commences work on your requests. We will refund any unused component of
the maximum charge.

Please respond by 17 December 2021 to finalise your requests. If you
choose to amend your requests, they will be treated as new requests under
section 15(1AA) of the Official Information Act for the purposes of
calculating the time limit for the University’s response. If you do not
respond by 17 December 2021, we will proceed with your requests in their
original form and provide a charge estimate on that basis.

Yours sincerely,

Rebecca Ewert
