National Gang List- process for data cleansing

Andrew Li made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was successful.

From: Andrew Li

Dear New Zealand Police,

Please outline how the ever-inflating 'National Gang List' is kept free of incorrect entries.

1) Is there a formal policy around data cleansing of the 'National Gang List'?
2) Are persons who appear in death records removed from the 'National Gang List'?

Kind regards,
Andrew Li
