Thank you for your email of 23 June 2021 to Hon Sepuloni requesting
information about Mātai Medical Research Institute.

 

After looking into your request we understand that the Mātai Medical
Research Institute was set up in 2019, while Ian Lees-Galloway was the
Minister for ACC, as this relates to a previous Minister, it is
appropriate that ACC respond to this request.

 

On behalf of Hon Sepuloni, we have transferred the entirety of your
request to ACC as the information you have requested is not held by the
Minister but is believed to be either held by ACC, or more closely
connected with its functions.

 

This transfer is done in accordance with section 14 of the Official
Information Act.
