I would like to know the statistics / total number of "Inconsistent and fabricated sexual complaints" were made under the Adult sexual assault investigation", per year (2010 to 2020), per gender, complaint category.

I would like to know;

- how many "Inconsistent and fabricated sexual complaints" were made ?
- How many charges progressed to prosecution ?
- How many charges were dismissed ?
- How many were convicted ?
- How many complaints were recorded as K3 "no offence disclosed"
- How many were arrested "K9" ?
- How many were cautioned "K4"?
- How many not arrested , not cautioned but proceeded by some other means "K6"

I have been asked to advise you that Police requires an extension of time
in which to respond to your request, pursuant to section 15A(1) of the
Official Information Act (OIA). Specifically, 15A(1)(b), consultations
necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper
response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time
limit.

 

Police require until 22 July 2021 to provide a substantive response to
your request.

 

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to make a complaint to
an Ombudsman about this extension.
