From: Scott
Dear Ministerial Services,
Thank you for your reply.
With regards to the joint NZSIS-Police training exercise, I was seeking only Police documents. NZSIS' own evaluation has already been published in response to another OIA request on this website.
If it helps, I can reframe this part of my request as:
Any documents produced solely by Police relating to the October 2018 counter-terrorism Response exercise, that can be described as formal debriefings, after-action reports and/or evaluations of this exercise. If a set of recommendations resulted from this exercise, I would like a copy of all recommendations that would have been the responsibility of Police to implement and any action plans for implementing these recommendations.
Yours sincerely,
Scott

Thank you for your email and clarification. I have forwarded this to the group responsible for your response. I will let NZSIS know that the action for them is no longer required.

Kia ora,
On 1 June 2021, New Zealand Police partially transferred your Official
Information Act 1982 (OIA) request to the NZSIS. The request was for
copies of all documents serving as formal debriefings, after-action
reports and/or evaluations of the joint NZSIS-Police response exercise
conducted in October 2018.
Today the Police advised us that you had responded to the notification of
transfer, with the following: With regards to the joint NZSIS-Police
training exercise, I was seeking only Police documents. NZSIS' own
evaluation has already been published in response to another OIA request
on this website.
As such we will consider this transfer of the request to be withdrawn. If
you have any concerns with this approach, please contact us.
Kind regards
NZSIS

Dear Brittany,
I reframed part one of my request on June 1st. Police acknowledged my clarification in an email on June 2nd, and cancelled the transfer to NZSIS.
Is this part of my request still being processed?
Yours sincerely,
Scott
