 Dear David,

I refer to your question below.

Council Response
The satisfaction results are attached.
CHCH is Lit was developed as a direct response to Botanic D’Lights being
cancelled due to Covid-19. It was designed to be a recovery event during
Alert Levels 3 or Level 2, but operated in Level 1 due to New Zealand’s
 quick response to lockdown.

As the event was designed to be a one off, the results from the survey
weren’t initially made public. The feedback from the event helped us
better understand public expectations of events during a pandemic and how
we can operate safely in restricted Alert Levels.

You have the right to request the Ombudsman to review this decision.
Complaints can be sent by email to [2][email address], by fax
to (04) 471 2254, or by post to The Ombudsman, PO Box 10152, Wellington
 6143.

Kind regards,

Sean
