Dear Earthquake Commission,
I would like to request for my file in relation to my property at 53 Flinders Road, Heathcote Valley, Christchurch 8022. I was given so many conflicting information as regards the repair of my house and I want to get to the bottom of this. Originally Precision Build Ltd was assigned to complete repairs to my house. I have built a good relationship with this company over many visits to my home to prepare quotes which I believe have been accepted by you. I have approached Fletcher for information concerning the completion of work on my house and have been told that Precision Build is no longer associated with them. I have since found that they are still approved for work by Fletcher and have in fact been given two assignments in January 2014. I have been told by Nathan Scott at Fletcher, (Ensors Hub) that their approved contractor for my work is now Endo Build Ltd. I am unhappy about this and have asked why Endo Build Ltd is preferred to Precision Build Ltd and have been told that it is because Endo Build Ltd is more technically qualified to deal with my house. The person who appointed Precision Build Ltd in the first place clearly felt that Precision Build was also qualified to do the job and I want to know why this view has changed. I have asked Nathan to let me know who assigned Precision Build to my case in the first place and why his decision has now being reviewed. Nathan has said that under the privacy act he is unable to supply this information and I take the view that this is nonsense. I wish to be advise who appointed Precision Build Ltd and why they are no longer considered satisfactory.
