I have been given your OIA request below to deal with – I am part of the
team in MBIE dealing with science and research policy matters. Would it
be possible to give you a phone call to discuss this request? My contact
details are in the signature block below.
Due to its broad nature, I would like to understand whether there is
specific information you are wanting to gather or whether it would be
possible to narrow your request. This will give us a sense of the
timeframe for completing it.
Best regards

Dear Lily Li,
Apologies for the delayed reply.
If processing the request is made easier by considering the three indica as the request I am happy to proceed on that basis.
The underlying purpose of the request is to gain an understanding of science funding in respect of climate change rather than to seek information regarding climate change research itself.
I hope that assists in narrowing/clarifying the request.
Once again, apologies for the delay.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Brailsford
