Dear McGhee, Sophie,
I have received a response by mail from your lawyer Jazz Singh
he states As advised in an email to you from Wendy Brandon on 13 February 2013, we refuse your
request. We refuse under section 17(h) of the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987.
this request is not frivolous or vexatious and the information requested is trivial.
Nor does Wendy Brandons email of 13 February 2013 have any relevance
the reason I asked for the information is that I have correspondence which shows that the Waitakere animal welfare fund was administered by the then manager through a fictitious organisation called AWINZ and that the funds were held by a group which later formed and became a charity using the name AWINZ.
I now have evidence that this money has been misappropriated. these are public funds.
While council diligently pursues us for our last $ it appears that theft from council and the public is being condoned and covered up. this is a serous issue .
I will posted the full story on http://www.transparency.net.nz/2014/02/1...
Please by way of logoima explain the response that I have received and advise what has happened to the Waitakere animal welfare funds and why were they administered by a third party and how did they appear to be misappropriated. and what does council intend to do about it?
Please further provide a copy of all policies with regards to fundraising from the general public using council logos.
Yours sincerely,
Grace Haden

Dear Stephens, James,
could you please advise me as to why you believe my request with regards to funds which Mr Sheard Lawyer for Waitakere city council acknowledged as being collected by the trustees of AWINZ , is vexatious or frivolous when I can now show that these funds which were solicited using council resources and letter head have been misappropriated.
How is criminal offending frivolous ?
Yours sincerely,
Grace Haden
