information you are seeking.
 
You have requested MOUs related to ‘the sharing of data to organisations
outside your organisation’.
 
Oranga Tamariki has several types of agreements that cover aspects of
information sharing between agencies.
 

* Generic Agreements/MOUs/Relationship Agreements that talk to how
agencies will relate to each other. These types of agreements include
a clause or section that relates to information sharing.
* Agreements that set out a process for the completion of a particular
piece of work, for example a Mass Allegation Investigation into child
abuse. These are not ‘information sharing agreements’; however they do
include what information can be shared, when and by whom.
* Information Sharing Agreements that relate to the specific exchange of
information between parties, generally used for research purposes.

As per the agreements outlined above, can you please confirm what type of
agreements you are seeking copies of under the Act.
