Hello Kylie
An Initial Evaluation Procedure (IEP) report has not been carried out for
the Bluff Service Centre. I opted to get a DEE report because:
1. An IEP is a desk-top assessment using structural drawings of the
building. No original drawings of the BSC could be found for this.
2. The DEE gives the same result but uses on-site investigation to
provide an in-depth and accurate assessment of the building structure.
This was more appropriate and the only viable means of carrying out a
seismic assessment
Both reports provide the same result which is a % of New Building Standard
(NBS) for the building.
I trust that this provides the information that you seek.
