New Zealand Police
Dear Ms Cox
I acknowledge receipt of your Official Information Act (OIA) request
below, received by NZ Police on 13 May 2020.
As you are aware, Police are needing to redeploy staff in the face of
unprecedented circumstances as we respond to Covid-19. This will have a
severe impact on our ability to respond to requests for information under
the OIA in a timely fashion. However, we recognise your request is a
matter of high public interest, and we will do our best to respond to you
as soon as we can.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards

"A trial licence was obtained"
"We conducted this trail [sic] under their standard terms and conditions as per their website. We did not enter into any specific contract."
I would have expected Police to release information about this trial licence in response to your last question. There does not appear to be any information about such a licence on the Clearview website. It seems clear that this licence would fall within the scope of your request, but Police have not provided any good reason for withholding it.
