Please provide me with a copy of the recent 'Conflicts of Interest Survey' which was distributed to members of the New Zealand Fire Service, and all information held by your organisation regarding this survey - such as who commissioned the survey, why it was commissioned, the cost of the survey, all communication regarding the survey, etc.

I requested a copy of the "Conflict of interest survey" which was recently sent to professional firefighters and I am STILL WAITING FOR IT!

By law, the authority should normally have responded promptly and by November 28, 2013 and I insist that it is provided without further delay!

For those wondering what Rob Pope's been doing since Judith Collins said she'd be a corrupt Minister if she didn't accept his resignation, the answer's been revealed. The NZ Fire Service sent a newsletter to its members on 18 September 2013 regarding this survey, stating the following:

"The Union has had a number of queries from members regarding the above Survey (sent out yesterday).

Members are advised that the Union was not consulted regarding this Survey, played no part in its
development, and in fact had no knowledge of it.

Consequently the Union’s recommendation to members is not to complete the Survey.

As well, more than a few of the questions can only be seen as a crude attempt to try to get members
to incriminate themselves."

Why do corrupt, incompetent people like Rob Pope keep getting their snouts back in the trough? - it's time Pope stopped receiving taxpayer funding.
