Dear New Zealand Fire Service Commission,
You have advised that there were 416 fires in the last 5 calendar
years, and 2015 year to date, caused in homes by candles. Please break this information down by calendar year.
Can you also please include the number of injuries and/or
fatalities which have resulted from these fires during those years, broken down by calendar year.
If you do not hold the information I am seeking, please transfer my request to the relevant agency who's functions may be more closer aligned to my request or provide the grounds under the Act for the refusal of this information.
