Dear Mr Roberts

I acknowledge receipt of your Official Information Act (OIA) request
below, received by NZ Police on 4 April 2020.

As you are aware, Police are needing to redeploy staff in the face of
unprecedented circumstances as we respond to Covid-19. This will have a
severe impact on our ability to respond to requests for information under
the OIA in a timely fashion. However, we recognise your request is a
matter of high public interest, and we will do our best to respond to you
as soon as we can.

Thank you for your understanding.

Dear New Zealand Police,

Thanks for your reply.

Please note the documents mentioned in your cover letter were not attached.

Through your website I have found the "Operational Policing Guidelines – Alert Level 4,
Scenarios for the Frontline" document here https://www.police.govt.nz/sites/default... so that is fine.

However the second document "National Operation Order for Checkpoints (Operation COVID19) April 2020" we still need a copy of. Would you please attach that with your reply.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Roberts
