Dear New Zealand Police,
Pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982, I request the following information:
Does the New Zealand Police have any policies, protocols, or internal guidelines (including health and safety or operational procedures) relating to romantic couples (including married or de facto partners) working together in frontline operational roles?
If so:
Please provide copies of any such policies or documents.
Please advise whether such policies are mandatory or voluntary, and whether compliance is expected or optional.
Are there any health and safety risk assessments or considerations undertaken by Police when romantic couples are rostered together in operational roles (e.g. general duties, response teams, etc)?
