I would like to request the Job description for District Licensing
Committees members/Chairs. Also, I know these roles are part time/on call,
can you please provide the working hours/days for each members in the past

advisory panel, chair, deputy chair and members. Are the ethnic peoples
advisory panel works as an employee of the Council or similar to DLC as a
contractor.

 

When ethnic peoples advisory panel are calling for nomination, has this

We refer to your information request regarding the District Licensing
Committees and Ethnic Peoples Advisory Panel.

 

Auckland Council’s response to your request is outlined below.

 

 1. I would like to request the Job description for District Licensing
Committees members/Chairs. Also, I know these roles are part time/on
call, can you please provide the working hours/days for each members
in the past 2 years, 2018 and 2017 actual years.

 

Please refer to the following attached documents:

o Job description for the District Licensing Committee (DLC) role
o FAQ’s that provide information on the remuneration rate and number of
hours expected for this role
o DLC hours for the last two financial years i.e. FY 2017-2018 and FY
2018-2019.

 

 2. Also, I would like to request the Job description for ethnic peoples
advisory panel, chair, deputy chair and members. Are the ethnic
peoples advisory panel works as an employee of the Council or similar
to DLC as a contractor.

 

The advisory panel roles are neither staff nor contractors. The panel
members get an honorarium for attending a meeting. The role of the panel
is outlined in the Terms of Reference available [1]online - see item 14
attachment of the agenda to the Governing Body meeting on 1 November 2019.

 3. When ethnic peoples advisory panel are calling for nomination, has
this been determined by the Council yet?

 

Recruitment for all of the advisory panels will commence shortly, we are
working to finalise the website and panel information. If you wish to be
