Dear Auckland Council,
I noted, you have recently call for expression of interest- District Licensing Committees
May I ask how you called for public nomination and on what platform you have call for public nominations e.g. govt.jobs website. A copy of your ad and how many vacancy you have for this round. Also, how many applications you have received from the public and how many you have received from other nominating agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc for your role. How many you have shortlisted and how many you have interviewed. Also, can I request to view the appointment letter if there is one sent to the previous appointee. I am happy for you to remove all the personal information.

Thank you for your request for information
I have attached an information sheet on our processes and requirements
under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
LGOIMA requires us to provide you with information no later than 20
working days after receiving your request. Your request will take longer
than usual. This is because the days commencing 20 December and ending 10
January are not counted as working days. This is explained in section 2(1)
of LGOIMA and at the Ombudsman's website

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no
later than 20 working days after the day your request was received. This
will be by 19.01.2026.
