Average length of stay in a state house

francesca ephraim made this Official Information request to Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for francesca ephraim to read recent responses and update the status.

From: francesca ephraim

Dear Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities,
I'd like to know the average length of stay in a state house as well as data on the longest tenancies (not the average but actual years a state house is occupied) and the number of people in these long term tenancies across the country, and which regions they are in.
Can you also please explain the process of how you reassess the need for a state house, and how regularly people are reassessed to see if they are still in need of state accommodation.

Yours faithfully,
Francesca
