Subject: Official Information request - Parking Fines

Dear Kris Faafoi,

I note that the Government, and yourself as a minister are currently progressing a Wheel Clamping law through Parliament.
I note this appears to only address part of the concerns people have about parking

I note that Parking fines appear to be in a grey area legally and that private companies have been charging consumers large fines for a long period of time, given your current progress on wheel clamping I was interested if there had been policy work done in this area either separately or in conjunction with this legislation

Under the OIA I wish to request the following informaiton

Any report/email/document provided or produced in regards to consideration of further policy/law changes regarding parking fines by private companies/entities?
