Hello Paul

Thank you for your request for official information.

There are two audit reports within scope of your request. It will not be
possible to send them to you electronically because of the number of pages
involved.

Could you please provide me with a copy of your postal address? The
documents will be sent to that address once they have been anonymised and
prepared for release.

Kind regards

Hello again Paul

Can you please clarify what aspects of PSAID you are requesting information on? This service is a community based and in-patient service. HealthCERT holds information related to the audit of Canterbury District Health Board on the in-patient service only. The audit reflects all DHB services over 20 sites and it is unlikely that the sampling of the DHB included the PSAID service. The service would not be individually identified because it is part of the overall acute mental health service.

The DHB would have contracts with the PSAID service around community and outpatient services and that may be an avenue for you to follow up.

In essence. We can only provide the whole audit reports for the DHB and are not sure if they would be helpful to you.

Kind regards

Thanks Cheryl,

I am interested in audit findings relating specifically to the services provided in the PSAID unit on Hillmorton grounds, are you saying that the findings for that unit could not be isolated from others?

Regards,
Paul McMahon.
