Retail fuel market study - request for fuel sales data

Andrew Tipton made this Official Information request to Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Andrew Tipton to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Andrew Tipton

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I refer to the draft findings of MBIE's current Retail Fuel Market Study, released on 20 August 2019. Appendix F of the draft findings describes in some detail the data that MBIE received from the various supplies of fuel in New Zealand. Specifically, paragraphs F23 through F43 describe a final data set that (among other items) contains, for each day [during the study period] and for each site, the quantity (in litres) of each type of fuel that was sold. The data has also been augmented by assigning a geographic region to each site.

Can you please supply me with the daily sales data, aggregated by geographic region?

Yours faithfully,
Andrew Tipton
