Household composition by number of dependent children in household, for households in occupied private dwellings, 2013 Census (AU)

Adam Ward made this Official Information request to Statistics New Zealand

This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.

From: Adam Ward

Dear Statistics New Zealand,

On the webpage...

...you provide a data set detailing the number of households with
- No dependent children
- One dependent child
- Two dependent children
- Three dependent children
- Four or more dependent children
- Number of dependent children unknown

This data is provided at a Territorial Authority and Regional Council level. Essentially, I am looking for a data set that provides exactly the same information but at a 2013 Area Unit level.

I cannot imagine that providing such information would violate any of the stipulations of the Privacy Act 1993 since this data is not personally identifiable. However, if you deem this data to be sensitive in the case of area units with small populations, the relevant values could always be suppressed.

Yours faithfully,

Dr Adam Ward

Hello Adam

The data you request would require a custom analysis for which a cost of starting from $155 + gst (hourly rate0 would apply.

If you would like a quote please send me your full contact details (phone, postal address) so a job request form can be lodged and an analyst will get back to you to discuss and offer a quote.
