Dear HARRINGTON, Lisa,

Respectfully, I would prefer written communication on this matter.

If the NZ Police had questions related to a previous request made by me on this matter, please note that the previous request was addressed only in part after an indication that it would otherwise be declined. This request seeks all information held in relation to Operation Faga, rather than the partial response previously given.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Brailsford

What a joke and a complete obstruction of the OIA. The operation order for Operation Faga was released here two years ago with virtually nothing redacted yet this year it is released with hardly anything to read. If it could be released two years ago why can't it be released this year? And what is more important - why is the OIA being interpreted differently this year compared to two years ago? Have there been changes to the Act?

The grounds of refusal are currently under investigation by the Office of the Ombudsman.
