Number and revenue derived from resident parking permits and coupon exemptions within Wellington
Oliver Bruce made this Official Information request to Wellington City Council
The request was successful.
From: Oliver Bruce
Dear Wellington City Council,
I request the total number of resident parking permits and coupon exemptions issued within the city, broken down by suburb, annually for the last 5 years.
Per your website, the suburbs should be Clifton, Kelburn, Kilbirnie, Miramar South, Mt Victoria, Mt Cook, Newtown, Te Aro and Thorndon. (https://wellington.govt.nz/services/park...)
Further to this, please also include the average revenue for parking spots that have a coupon system on an annualised basis in each of these suburbs (ie. How much each coupon carpark generates in terms of revenue annually, on average across all spots in a suburb).
Yours faithfully,
Oliver

Dear Ian Hunter,
Hi. Would it also be possible to please get the average revenue per coupon-based car park (when they're just used normally as coupon parking) in each of these areas on an annual basis over the last 4 years?
Thank you,
Yours sincerely,

Hi Ian,
It also appears that the figures from 2014 are quite a bit smaller than subsequent years - can you please confirm that they are full year?
Thanks,
Oliver
