Resource consents for combustion discharges
Alex Harris made this Official Information request to Hawke's Bay Regional Council
The request was successful.
From: Alex Harris
Dear Hawke's Bay Regional Council,
Rule 17 of the HBRC Regional Resource Management Plan controls the discharge of contaminants from small-scale combustion of specified fuels as a permitted activity. Larger-scale combustion (> 5MW for gas, 100 kW for coal etc) requires a resource consent, either under rule 18 as a controlled activity, or under rule 30 as a restricted discretionary activity. I would like to request the following information under the LGOIMA:
* a list of all the resource consents in force for combustion of specified fuels. For each consent I would like the date of issue, date of expiry, the fuel source for the combustion, and the power in kW or MW (if known) or maximum combustion rate (e.g. in tonnes per hour, if known).
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.
Yours faithfully,
Alex Harris

Dear Malcolm Miller,
I think you've given me the wrong attachment - old correspondence relating to public notification of a water bottling consent, rather than the spreadsheet you mentioned. Could you (re)send the spreadsheet please?
Yours sincerely,
Alex Harris
