Dear Selwyn District Council,

Under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act I request the following information:

A list of all positions (job titles) directly employed by the Council including contractors, and the number of staff in each of those roles.
Any briefings, reports, advice, transcripts, notes, correspondence, aide memories or any other documents regarding any proposal to amalgamate the Council with neighbouring Councils.

I note that according to the LGOIMA response calculator on the website of the Office of the Ombudsmen, I should receive a response to this request on or before 28 June 2019.

I would appreciate acknowledgement of this request.

Dear Selwyn District Council,

I am yet to receive even an acknowledgement for this request.

I note that according to the LGOIMA response calculator on the website of the Office of the Ombudsmen, I should have received a response to this request by 26 June 2019.

Can you please give me and update on this and also tell me why there was no acknowledgement email from council. If not i would have to make a complaint Ombudsman.

dated 28 May 2019 for information under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987.

2.         The Council:

(a)        will compile the requested …list of all positions (job titles)
directly employed by the Council including contractors, and the number of
staff in each of those roles and provide the same as soon as possible and,
in any case, within 20 working days of being made aware of your request;
and

(b)        holds no …briefings, reports, advice, transcripts, notes,
correspondence, aide memories or any other documents regarding any
proposal to amalgamate the Council with neighbouring Councils.
