I am requesting information under the Official Information Act 1982 relating to statements made in Police’s refusal letter IR‑01‑26‑17968 (16 June 2026), in which Police stated:

“Police have become aware of your public social media posts…”

As Police have relied on my social‑media activity as part of their decision‑making, I request the following information.

Please provide all emails, internal messages, reports, notes, summaries, screenshots, extracts, monitoring logs, or any other documents that refer to, quote, describe, or discuss any of my social‑media posts.

2. Identification of the posts Police relied upon
Please provide:

the specific posts Police reviewed

the dates of those posts

the content Police relied upon

any internal interpretation or analysis of those posts

3. The decision‑making documents used to justify refusal under s18(h)
Please provide all internal documents used in forming the decision to refuse my request under s18(h), including:

internal emails

internal memos

drafts

decision notes

risk assessments

briefing documents

legal advice (if not privileged)

4. Any policy, guideline, or internal instruction relating to monitoring public social‑media posts by OIA requesters
Please provide:

any policy authorising such monitoring

any guidance on when it may occur

5. Roles of staff involved
Please provide the roles (not necessarily names) of staff who:
