Thank you for your e-mail of 25 February 2025 requesting the following
information, which is being considered in accordance with the Official
Information Act 1982:

 

Can I please have all communications, including internal and external
emails, messages and notes, related to 30 Benmore Cres, Manor Park and the
developer (Rosco Ice Cream) engagement of Waka Katohi. 

 

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) considers that your request, as
currently framed, cannot be met without substantial collation and research
and, unless it is refined, is likely to be refused under section 18(f) of
the Official Information Act.  To enable us to identify what specific
information and documents you are seeking, and to provide a meaningful
response to you, we would like to ask that you clarify and refine your
original request as follows:

 

 1. As a first step, it would be great if you could specify a timeframe
that your request covers – for example: “I am interested in
communications that occurred during a two-year period from 1 February
2023 to 31 January 2025.”

 

 2. As your request involves a large volume of information, could you
please refine your request to specific subject matter – for example:
“I am interested in work or planned work at the intersection of Manor
Park Road and Benmore Crescent.”

 

 3. Due to the nature of the work undertaken by NZ Transport Agency Waka
Kotahi (NZTA), a large amount of engagement and communication has
occurred between NZTA, Rosco Ice Cream Limited and stakeholder
organisations.  It would be great if you could refine your request to
specific documents – for example: “I am seeking letters between NZTA
and Rosco Ice Cream Limited, and minutes of meetings.”

 

 4. If you are seeking copies of e-mails, we may need to do an e-mail
sweep of NZTA staff e-mail In boxes.  For this, it would be great if
you could specify the timeframe for the e-mails, the parties involved,
and what specific keywords you would like us to use when searching
e-mails.

 

We look forward to being able to assist once the scope of your request is
defined.  It would be great to hear back from you by Wednesday 5 March
2025.
